Novel - “On Which the Sun Has Set” - $20.00 (318 pages)

Set in Lesotho back in the early 1960’s the novel opens up the secret lives of the handful of ex-patriots who live in the little town of Mabaneng.  With only each other for company and entertainment, lives become intertwined and dangerously confused, while all around them, the Basotho people are moving ever closer to gaining their independence from Britain.  The novel gives a fascinating insight into a world that has now vanished.

Novel - “Angels In The Attic” - $20.00  (234 pages)

This light romantic novel set in England and France follows the adventures of Alfred and Angelica who befriend a delightful elderly lady.  Little do they know of her past and the incredible dangers that she once faced.  The story takes the reader back to France during the Second World War, and we see that in order for the young people to find real love, it is going to take more than just a simple friendship to unravel the mystery and dangers of the past.

Autobiography – “Cannibals to Croissants” - $20.00 (130 pages with illustrations)

Arriving alone as a young woman of nineteen, Kate spent the years from 1989 to 1992 living in the little town of Mohales Hoek in the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho – Southern Africa.   With only thirty ex-patriots living in town, life varied between hilarious and   dangerous, passionate and poisonous.    All-night dances,  a pig and a witchdoctor that could both fly, amateur dramatics and some very real dramatics were part and parcel of her extraordinary life.

Autobiography –“Lambs Love and Laughter” - $15.00 (70 pages with illustrations)

In 1992 – Kate left Lesotho, and together with her husband John, they bought a derelict farm in a remote region of the Free State of South Africa.  In an effort to give their budding romance a chance, and discover if they could make a new life for themselves, they learned the hard way how to cope with fire, flood, drought and a sheep who was convinced it was a dog.

The English Newspaper Column collection – “Would You Like An Alligator With That?” –  $15.00  (80 pages illustrated)

Since arriving in Miami in 2003, Kate and her husband John have had to come to grips with a life that is totally the opposite of the one that they knew in Africa.  Kate takes an affectionately funny view of some of the more extraordinary experiences that they have had since moving to the land of sun, sea, sand, hurricanes and “aloominum”, and a serious lack of mountains.
